Lauren, I was so happy to meet you when you and the other special people in his life were here for Tim's birthday. As I told you then, I think your eloquence spills out all across your blog. But why can't this be a stab at writing fiction? Then you can determine how this story will end: "My family and I lived happily ever after, with lots of after." I know you have lots of friends and family and who am I to you? I'm praying you well with all my might! I'm a retired licensed professional counselor and, should you ever want to talk without having to censor/measure your thoughts and words, I know you don't know me, and there are so many friends/family who will listen to you whenever you want. Sometimes, though, a person who's neutral, not in the middle of what you and those who love you are living, can be a repository of your fear, anger, anguish, uncertainty, without the need for you to "stuff" what you're feeling out of concern for everyone. I offer you as much time as you may want or need, which could, of course, be none, and that's okay. There's no need for you to respond. Just know I'm hangin' out over here but I can easily hang out over there with you if you should ever feel the need...
